Austin Bee Removal from a home or business is a very common request for many bee control professionals. We can help with Austin Bee Removal and removing bees in Sunset Valley, Round Rock, Travis Heights, Rollingwood, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Steiner Ranch, Westlake, Circle C, Jollyville, Riverplace and West Lake Hills Texas. Bees play a very important role in nature, pollinating plants that flower, and in many ecosystems, are the major pollinator. It has been estimated that over 1/3 of our food supply is dependant on insects, mainly the bee. Although helpful, if not required by nature, bees are not desired in or near a home or place of business.

If a bee is inside a home, it is probably not that it flew in, but that it's nest is actually inside your home! Bees will create complex honeycombs inside your walls, and will often stretch from one end of a wall to another. Their honey can leak out of the hive and completely ruin your wall. They also give off a odorous sugar substance that will attract unwanted pests, such as insects and rodents.

A qualified Bee Removal Company offers:

    • Yellow Jacket Control
    • Wasp Control

    Facts about Bee Removal

There are many different species of bees today. Over 20,000 with more being discovered every day. The major types of bees:
    • Bumble Bees
    • Honey Bees
    • Stingless Bees
    • Africanized Honey Bees

The hornet and yellow jacket, are popular species of wasps, not actually bees and the Bumble Bee is the most different from all bees. The bumble bee queen actually begins the nest, as apposed to a swarm like other bees. The Africanized, or Killer bee resulted as an experiment to cross bread the European and African Honey Bee. After several queen bees escaped from a laboratory in South America, this aggressive species has begun to spread in south west America. The "Killer" bee has some human deaths associated to it, but surprisingly, it's venom is no more potent than that of the honey bee. It is often due to the large size of swarms the make this species fatal.

The honey bee colony consists of three classes, the Queen, who lays eggs, Drones who mate with the queen and have no stinger, and the Worker bees- the bees who create the nest and gather nectar or pollen. A colony will often exceed tens of thousands of workers and a standard worker bee can be born in under 20 days, rapidly expanding the size of the colony.
